Spring has sprung in Vevey! Flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and temperatures are rising! It is delightful! This weekend also felt like the official start of spring, because it was the weekend of Cully Jazz Fest. Cully is a cute, little town between Vevey and Lausanne – right in the middle of Lavaux (home of most of the Swiss wineries). For 10 days, jazz artists perform in all of the wine caves, bars, and restaurants in the town. There is food (I had Pad Thai!) and drink and people hanging out throughout the town. It’s is amazing – particularly with beautiful weather. Last night, we went with a large group of people. We ate and roamed to several different venues. Today, I went back with two girlfriends to hear a jazz pianist perform in an adorable church in the center of town. It was so relaxing on a Sunday afternoon!
A few photos from Cully as well as a few other photos of the flowers I’m seeing around town. Happy Spring!
