I know I haven’t officially published my “European Goal List” on here, but I have a list. I’m sure it’s not complete, but it has quite a few things for me to tackle. One of them was the French Open. I was SO excited when I realized that my days in Paris were aligned with the dates of the tournament! We spent the day at Roland Garros for 1/4 finals, and we got to see two matches – a women’s singles (Suarez-Navarro from Spain vs. Bouchard from Canada) and a men’s singles (Berdych from Czech Republic and Gulbis from Latvia). In both cases, our favorites won – Bouchard and Gulbis. I loved the environment. I loved figuring out what was being said in French. I loved Bouchard’s cute outfit. I loved the ice cream. I loved the fact that it didn’t rain, even though it was forecasted to do so.
