Today, I played the piano for the 6-10 year old class at church. The people who usually lead the music for the kids just had a baby this week, so they needed a substitute. I haven’t played in almost a year, since I don’t have a piano here, but thankfully, all went well. The children’s classes are all conducted in French, so we sang all of the music in French, too. It was so amazing to watch 25 little kids belt out the words to worship songs in another language!
I stayed to help out for the rest of the class, and I laughed at the kids’ responses when asked what they need to do / bring in preparation for a trip. The first four responses:
- Pack your suitcase
- Bring your passport
- Bring your identification card
- Bring Money
Sounds like these are some cultured, well-traveled little ones! 🙂
