The fall colors in Switzerland have nothing on the US. The Midwest, and even more so, the Northeast have exceptional colors in the fall! It took awhile, but the trees are finally changing colors, and it actually feels like fall here. Thank goodness, because winter isn’t too far away! Up in the mountains, it’s already snowing, and several ski stations opened this weekend for the season.
Down in Vevey, it’s chilly, but not too cold yet. I am trying to take advantage of time outside during these final fall weekends. This afternoon, I headed to the vineyards with four friends for a walk (which here equates to a hike, since it generally involves climbing up a mountain). It was SO beautiful.
I am grateful for the changing seasons that make this place spectacular in new & different ways. It continuously takes my breath away!
