As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I have had loads of visitors during my time in Vevey. I’ll be the first to admit that visitors are a lot of work…laundry, grocery shopping, planning activities, and coordinating logistics. BUT…they are also a huge blessing to me. In most cases, they are dear friends with whom I can reminisce about old times and swap stories about what’s currently happening in our lives. Other times, they are newer friends who I’m getting know. Thankfully, most of my visitors are loads of fun and time with them leads to hysterical laughter, which is good for my soul.
Last week, I had a mix of all of these types of visitors. Three of the friends I met in Venice came to spend several days in Vevey. One of them is kind of an old friend, and two of them were new friends. All three of them made me laugh!
Everyone else took photos with their phones, but me. I snagged a couple of pictures from facebook, but what you aren’t seeing here is our “romantic” candle lit dinner, lunch at the office, or movie night. And what you aren’t hearing is the laughter. So. Much. Laughter.
[Like everyone, they were obsessed with the mountains]
[They were also surprised by the fork…and proceeded to take the most creative picture I’ve seen yet!]
[And when two cousins come to visit, you get to meet the whole family over FaceTime! So fun!!]
